The Missing Piece to Complete Digitized Hollowcore Workflow is Here | Trimble
Sakari Lahti, Product Manager at Trimble, introduced the new BIM integrated hollowcore calculation workflow. Thanks to Trimble’s partnership with CADeON calculation solution, you now can run hollowcore and other similar pre-stressed flooring product member calculations within the Tekla Structures interface.
Sakari also explored the vast benefits of this integration for their operations. Also, a few other innovation highlights about integrated Embodied Carbon Calculation and Augmented Reality were introduced.

Thomas Gitsas, Business Development Manager – Precast at StruSoft, expllained how the hollowcore slab is used as boundary or external wall in the Middle East, and why automation in such projects gives great control over the precast process.
