IPHA, the International Prestressed Hollowcore Association, was established 30 years ago. It is the foremost organization dedicated to all aspects of the design, development, production, sales and marketing of prestressed hollowcore floors and walls.
IPHA is an international organization, with members in 38 different countries around the world. It is registered in Belgium as a non-profit organization.
As part of a succession plan, IPHA is now seeking a new Executive Director.
Job Description
You are a dedicated leader and you like to work in an international environment, serving our members from around the world.
You will be working on various administrative tasks including, but not limited to, the preparation of board meetings and general assemblies, collection of membership fees, communication with members and cooperation with IPHA’s bank and auditors.
You will ensure that the operation of IPHA is legal according to the rules in Belgium.
You will prepare and organize annual conferences in cooperation with the host company.
You will prepare and organize seminars in cooperation with the relevant IPHA committee.
You will participate in and supervise annual conferences and seminars.
Together with IPHA’s webmaster, you will oversee publications on IPHA’s website and LinkedIn.
You will participate in recruitment of new members.
Required Profile
- You are able to take on the ambassadorial role.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are able to maintain relationships.
- You have hollowcore industrial knowledge, or an affinity with concrete and hollowcore.
- You have organizational skills.
- You have planning and systematic skills.
- You are willing to travel 15-20 days per year.
- Your working language will be English.
We Offer
You will work from your home address. The workload is 2-3 hours per day on average, including travel time.
Your service will start on 1 May 2023, allowing one month overlap with our present Executive Director.
