At the 2025 Annual Conference held in Warsaw, Poland, it was announced that Seamus McKeague would step down as President of IPHA. Elected in his place is Marco Pecetti, of Generale Prefabbricati, Italy, who has served on the board of IPHA with distinction for many years.
Marco is an Engineer, graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan, specialized in the field of project management and cost control. Registered in the National Register of Fire Protection Professionals. He worked in BNP Paribas Real Estate Italy before joining the family business in 2012 as General Manager with responsibility for R&D, commercial and technical activities. He holds various positions in Confindustria Umbria.
In the video, Marco addresses the members of IPHA, discussing his professional relationship with the association, and his hopes for the future of IPHA. This includes key topics and agendas for the upcoming Technical Seminar, to be held in Krakow, Poland, as well as the 2026 Annual Conference, held in conjunction with the BIBM Congress in Rome.
