Welcome from IPHA’s President
This occasion is not only special for its important anniversary, which means a lot for those of us who have belonged to IPHA since its establishment; on a personal note, I’m thrilled to be hosting you in my home country. The theme of this year’s Conference held in conjunction with BIBM is of such importance, we decided to give our contribution to discuss and learn about what the situation for sustainable precast really is. In our goal of transitioning to environmentally friendly precast solutions, smart design can be an integral factor whether it is reusing components or focusing on technology to ensure durability. We have all been involved and committed to improving our products and practices for many years, and this kind of event allows us to keep up to date with the latest innovations and inspires us to keep evolving with the changing times and markets. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was IPHA. 30 years of promoting, supporting and sharing a worldwide vision should be celebrated. For this reason we have set up a special event to remember: you will have the occasion to visit the Vatican Museums privately and enjoy our time together in an outstanding venue with a spectacular view of the “Eternal City”. Once in a Lifetime Opportunity for IPHA Members
This time IPHA and Generale Prefabbricati will give our member a unique experience. On Wednesday, May 20th we will first have our General Assembly, then the grand opening of the BIBM-Congress. At 19:00 in the afternoon, a waiting bus outside Hotel A.ROMA will take us to a private and exclusive guided tour for IPHA-members only in the Vatican-Museum & the Sistina Chapel. Then we will continue by bus to the fantastic restaurant Casina Valadier, with a view over Roma. A full event program is available to download now, and delegate registration for the 2026 annual conference is open to all IPHA members. Registration closes on Saturday 28th February 2026.
